Piers Higgs (email)
Piers Higgs is the director and founder of Gaia Resources. He has worked with the environmental industry for most of his career, and has a range of experience in GIS, ecology and data management.
Piers is a Research Associate of the Western Australian Museum.

Tim Carpenter (email)
Tim is our Technical Architect.
Tim has nine years experience in software design and development for web and non-web based platforms using a wide variety of programming languages and databases.
Tim is pictured en-route to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Andrew Dennison (email)
Andrew is our GIS Solutions Architect.
Andrew has a range of experience in GIS technologies, including MapInfo and ArcGIS. Andrew also has experience in a range of other packages and applications that are GIS related.
Akeal Hayek (email)
Akeal is with is as a Spatial Analyst.
Akeal's prior experience is in cadastral and engineering surveying; that was before he made the leap into GIS, completing the degree at Curtin University in 2007. He finds the surveying experience has strongly enhanced his professional GIS knowledge in many related areas.
He still has hair, and hopes to keep it that way for as long as he can.

Charlotte is working with us as a casual GIS operator
Charlotte is the Gaia Resources Scholarship winner from 2007 and joined us as a GIS Operator. She is a student from Curtin University, studying a double degree in Economics and Geographic Information Science.

Dudley Pallewela (email)
Dudley has recently joined us as a casual GIS operator, and we've yet to get him in front of a camera, either.
In a previous career, Dudley used to be a Geologist in Sri Lanka. Dudley is now studying for his Graduate Diploma in GIS at Curtin University.
Ben Zeeb (email)
Ben is the Gaia Resources Scholarship winner from 2008 and joined us as a GIS Operator. He is a student from Curtin University, studying a Geographic Information Science.
