Akeal

Akeal Hayek (email)

Akeal is with us as a Spatial Analyst.

Akeal's prior experience is in cadastral and engineering surveying; that was before he made the leap into GIS, completing the degree at Curtin University in 2007. He finds the surveying experience has strongly enhanced his professional GIS knowledge in many related areas.

He still has hair, and hopes to keep it that way for as long as he can.

Mel

Mel McVee (email)

Mel is with us as a Spatial Analyst.

Mel comes from a background of oil and gas projects and has only recently joined the ranks of GIS. She will be completing her Post Grad Diploma in 2009 from Curtin University. Mel also has hair, much longer than Akeals and the envy of the office.

Corinne

Corinne Barnes (email)

Corinne is our Office Administrator

Corinne joins us to help with the ever growing adminstration of Gaia Resources. She is the friendly voice you hear when you call us now. She handles a lot of different tasks around the office, and helps keep the rest of the team in line!

Anthony (or AJ) joined Gaia Resources as our Senior Developer.

Anthony recently worked in the defence industries, specialising in simulation software. At Gaia Resources, he does a lot of development work, runs our network, and brings us excellent biscuits.
