The Park Life survey was conducted across Australia in late 2023, using an interactive mapping and survey tool developed by Gaia Resources.
The goal of the Park Life project was to gain deeper insights into how people use public open spaces, helping to shape more effective planning strategies and policies.
Participants were asked to map the parks they visited and respond to a series of questions about their use of these spaces, along with details about their physical activity and mental wellbeing.
In total, 7,941 people took part in the survey, mapping an impressive 10,024 parks across the country!
