What we do

This phrase is our mission statement, and it means a lot to us.  It reminds us why we come to work, and what impact we are enabling our clients to have in this world.  This has been driving us since our inception in 2004.  But what do we actually do?  A mission statement gives you an idea of why we do what we do, but how can we work with you?

We are a technology company - so we’re focused on technology projects.  We are a multidisciplinary team, including business analysts, software engineers, spatial analysts, devops engineers and project managers, so we can provide all the services you need across your technology project from the start to the finish.  Whether that is designing a new system, building a new one, or supporting it once it goes live, we’re able to deliver on all those areas.

We focus our work on our clients, and have specialised since our inception in the Environment field.  This has seen us focus on biodiversity data over the years, which is where we have the broadest range of skills and expertise.  We also work in other broader areas of the environment as well, so if you have a technological problem that interacts with the environment, then we’d love to hear from you and talk about how we can help.

Our other main area is in the Collections field - think of the Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums (GLAM) sector.  Here, we work on helping organisations manage their collection of ‘things’ - be it specimens, archives, artworks or library holdings.  We’ve worked with many organisations over the years in this area and we enjoy learning about collections and helping to solve the technological problems that may arise.
